An unexpected encounter with parrots in Amsterdam inspired me to create this little work. Not knowing how to connect one of the main symbols of the Netherlands - tulips - with parrots, I began to look for different species and was surprised to find the presence of parrot tulips. The colors of the "Green Wave" tulips seem to be copied from Kramer's parrots living in Holland! I imagined that the details of this pattern, made in bright colors, would fit a small but brave coffee bar in the city center.
